Design with iScape ft. Ricky Rock
May 19, 2019
Around the globe, more than five million designs have been created using iScape, helping homeowners and industry pros save time, money, and energy. iScape brings the user’s vision to life through thousands of plants, hardscapes and outdoor living elements, virtually placed within the app. City dwellers, suburbanites, rural residents, businesses, college and university horticulture departments, school and community gardens, facilities managers, park districts and municipalities – all will find iScape remarkably useful for their diverse needs.
And we want to share your work! This is Ricky Rock from Studio City, California, with his share of experience and designs.
How has iScape fostered your inspiration and creative side?
It’s allowed me to play with different ideas to see which really fits in the landscape I’m working on, whether it’s with different colors of flowers or types of groundcover or even the positioning of outdoor furniture.
How much time do you think iScape has saved you in designing different landscapes?
I’ve saved a considerable amount of time being able to adjust my materials used and ideas within minutes. Instead of risking a lot of money and time and energy on an outdoor project that I won’t potentially like, I can make any changes and additions I want without any limitations.
What is your favorite feature on iScape and why?
My favorite feature would be the names of the different plants/trees posted under the photo so I’m able to know with certainty which plants would work for my clients. iScape has a great image database of all sorts of landscape elements that feature a picture and name of each one. If my client wants to know any specifics, I can rely on iScape to have it.
How did you find out about iScape?
I found out about iScape browsing through landscape apps on my iPhone! It looked the most helpful in planning outdoor designs and the Augmented Reality feature looked too cool not to try out.
What would you like to see next from iScape?
I am looking forward to more finishes and options for landscape designs on iScape because it will make it that much better.
